Pricing
One flat price per tier, and every month your tier retires a fixed basket of third-party certificates, whether you used your allowance or not. Your footprint estimate is shown separately, with its range; the basket is not sized from it, and we make no claim that the basket covers or exceeds any footprint. Tier caps key on billable tokens for placement; cached input counts at a tenth; nothing about your usage or our methodology changes what is retired or what you pay.

Estimate and backfill your usage
Already been running AI? Enter your total historical tokens for an indicative estimate of what a backfill would retire and cost, sized at the same conservative accrual basis the product bills against.
Indicative and self-estimated: a standard usage mix with conservative defaults, priced at current supplier rates. The binding quote comes from your own account's history window in the console, where figures and price freeze the moment you quote. Backfill currently covers up to your last 12 months; longer histories join when the historical coefficients clear methodology review. Create a free account to start metering and quote from your real usage.

What the Personal plan retires, every month
Fixed quantities, retired whether or not you use your allowance.
- BEF Water Restoration Certificates®
- 475 gal
- Carbon credits retired
- 230 kg CO2e
- Renewable Energy Certificates retired
- 425 kWh
Each category stands on its own and is never totalled. Personal plans pool: R3CKON buys whole certificates each month, rounding up so every member's basket is met in full, and each account receives its share of the named retirement. The basket is a defined product allowance, not a representation that any footprint is covered or cancelled.

Renewal, cancellation, and timing
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel: monthly at the monthly price, or yearly at the yearly price for Personal Light and for Team and Business on a yearly plan. Prices exclude applicable sales tax. Cancel online any time from the Cancel subscription button in your console; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, with no fee, and paid periods are not refunded except where the law requires. We email you 7 to 30 days before any price or basket change, and before each yearly renewal.
Each month's basket is ordered at that month's close. Retirements typically confirm, and certificates arrive, three to six weeks after the month ends. Certificates list confirmed retirements only. The basket for your final paid month is retired even if you cancel.
Billable tokens, explained
Modern AI workloads reuse the same context over and over, and providers serve those cache reads with about a tenth of the compute. Counting them like fresh tokens would overcharge exactly the teams that engineered their usage well, so tier caps count billable tokens:
billable = fresh input + output + 10% × cached input
A worked example: a firm that looks huge on paper
- Tokens tracked in a month
- 4,000M
- of which cache reads (93%)
- 3,720M × 10% = 372M billable
- fresh input and output (7%)
- 280M billable
- Billable tokens
- 652M → Business tier
Every count comes from your provider's own usage reporting, so your bill is auditable from numbers you can verify. The 10 percent cached rate is a fixed billing rule, kept deliberately separate from the estimation methodology: revising a methodology coefficient can change an estimate, never your bill. The footprint estimate itself also credits cache reads, at the methodology's own cached-input coefficient.
Every tier includes the whole pipe
SDK capture, OpenTelemetry, sync scripts, managed Google connections, CSV upload, the questionnaire estimate, read-only API keys, and the MCP server for coding agents are on every tier, including free. Tiers price the volume of usage estimated and the retirement basket that comes with it, never access to the plumbing.
Why tokens, not footprint
Your bill depends only on tokens tracked, a number you report and can audit, never on estimated gallons, tonnes, or credit value. That separation is deliberate: no coefficient in our methodology can influence our revenue, so the estimates stay honest and so does the price. If a methodology revision changes an estimate, your subscription does not move.
Where your subscription goes
Every month, your plan buys and retires the fixed set of certificates listed on it. That set is the same whether you use all of your tokens or almost none of them, so a light month does not shrink what gets retired. The quantities are published here and in the Terms, and during a paid term they can go up but never down.
How basket sizes were chosen
Each basket was set once per tier, using the 90th percentile of our modeled range (parameter uncertainty only) for a chat-shaped workload at the tier's full allowance. Coding and agent workloads can model higher than the basket. Your own estimate does not change the basket, and the basket is not a statement about your footprint. The full sizing note is on the methodology page.
What happens at the token cap
Estimation continues past the cap; nothing is ever gated or interrupted. The basket stays the same, and sustained billable usage above the cap moves you to the next tier at the following billing period, only after we email you 7 to 30 days ahead with the new price and how to cancel. The certificate states the billable tokens estimated in the period.
Yearly billing (two months free) is available on Team ($290/year) and Business ($2,500/year); Personal Light is billed yearly ($36/year). All claims customers may make about retirements are governed by the approved language in the Terms of Service; footprint figures are modeled estimates with stated ranges per the methodology.
